The Photo Album #3

I have been loving this series lately! When I was searching for the picture to use today, I ran across this one from my junior year of high school.

I am on the left in the black and white and my best friend since I was 2, Felicia, is on the lest in the pink. Felicia and I started dancing together when I was 2 and she was 3. All throughout dance we were inseparable. We have now been friends for 19 years! Although you may argue we don't remember our time together when we were super young we did everything together and have pictures to prove it! We danced together for 15 of those 19 years.

Fe is a year older than me almost to the day. Her birthday is 5 days before mine just a year before. Since she was a year older, I always looked up to her in dance. Then as I got older I began to look up to her in everyday life. I always have and still do to this day. She inspires me. Fe has one of the most beautiful and caring hearts I know.

The picture above specifically is from her Senior Prom. I was lucky enough to not only go when I was a junior, but I was in her group! We had so much fun and danced all night. The really sentimental part of this picture is that we were able to do one of the last things she would do in high school, together.

We are love to have fun and make memories. We are not afraid to be us and be goofballs. After the dance ended our group decided to make a stop at Speedway for slurpees. Yes, we went in dressed like this and walked out with slurpees in our hands proudly! I'm not sure which one of us decided to take a picture with the road side, but next thing I knew we were headed over that way with her date following close behind to snap the picture!

I love her to death. We do not get to hang out often or really see each other on a regular basis, but what is special about our friendship is that it never changes. Time does not dictate us and how we feel about one another. I know that no matter where life takes us we will always be there for each other. She is truly the definition of a true and forever friend.

Do you have any favorite HS dance memories?
Or random moments with your best friend?
