From The Big Screen

Over the past few days I have watched a couple of movies, and it got me thinking about how there is so much for us to learn in each movie (or show) that we watch. However, I wanted to be able to share examples beyond just things in my mind, that I had seen so this is where I turned to the world wide web. Through my googling I was excited when I came across a site called Hypable which led me to an article titled 10 life lessons from fandoms we love. B-I-N-G-O! Exactly what I was hoping to find.

Take 1 of 1. Marker…and action!

Cut. That's a wrap!

Questions of the Day:
1) How many of these did you recognize?
2) Is there one that stood out most?
3) What movies do you find lessons in?

  1. This is such a great post I love it! I like looking for life lessons in movies and books too. The Harry Potter series is full of them. Pretty much everything Dumbledore says is worth thinking about. I'd have to say his is my favorite from the selection above.

  5. Every book, every film, every tv show, heck every story has at least one thing that you can take away from it. I feel so ashamed and sad for people who don´t see it or miss this thing. You pointed out some really great ones. I know that the qoutes from The Hunger Games, A Cinderella Story and The Lion King have already stuck with me for while now and that I really appreciate them.

    1. I sometimes even find myself pausing a movie (or a show if its recorded) to jot down something that I heard that stuck out to me. I've always been one of those people who gets so into movies and internalizes them a lot! I didn't know the hunger game quotes too well since I only saw it once at midnight when it came out however A Cinderella Story and The Lion King both have stuck with me too!

    1. Teen Wolf was the only one I didn't recognize by name as well! And the same for me on Walt Disney…such an incredible mind. I love learning as much as I can about him and everything Disney.
