Today's the Day!

Happy Day! I am excited to publicly reveal my blog today! :)

I have been working for several days to get it up and running but, wanted to wait to share it until I had a few days worth of content for you to read.
>>Make sure to take a look at my earlier posts!<<

Starting a motivational blog has been a dream of mine for quite some time now. Thanks to a friend and class I have this semester I was finally able to. If you would like to see why starting a motivational blog was important to me check out my first post, which can be found here: Let Me Introduce Myself!

With today being Wednesday, I couldn't help but want to share this!

The middle of the week can be a rough one and I wanted to up this morning and stop the slump before it started. To do so, I had to make sure I was going to sleep ready to "rise up & attack the day with enthusiasm."

As I got ready for bed I made sure to review my schedule for the coming day, as well as I jotted down a list of what I needed to accomplish.
>>This is the part that can make that alarm your worst enemy!<<

I am no doubt a night owl which can make mornings not so easy. But, you can't start the day unless you start it off right! Anticipating the snowfall we were supposed to get (is it spring yet?!) and knowing I needed to be up at 8am I decided to prepare a quick grab-and-go breakfast and make sure that everything for the day was packed. When I laid down I read out of my devotional so I would fall asleep with a positive thought in mind. A little thing I love to do is set a song for my alarm that I know will make me happy! My choice for this morning was the Glee Cover of Don't Stop Believin'.

I did this to start happy and less stressed!

Waking up would be easier if it wasn't the dead of winter; between the dark and cold it is hard to get up and going. However, I was insistent to walk out the door with a smile, bundled up, ready to attack the day! So far, so good!

What would you do to help rise up and attack your tomorrow?!
