Dr. Seuss Saturday

Inspiration comes in all shapes and form. It all depends on how we look at it. The other day I realized how thought-provoking Dr. Seuss quotes really are. I have always loved all quotes I had come across of his, but when you take the time to really read through they are so much more then a simple rhyme.

Sometimes the questions are complicated and the answers are simple.

(don't overcomplicated things)

Why fit in when you were born to stand out?

(don't be afraid to be who you are)

Today was good, today was fun, tomorrow is another one.

(each new day is awaiting you)

You'll miss the best things if you keep your eyes shut.
Source
(look fear in the face)

Oh, the things you can find, if you don't stay behind.
Source
(be bold, be a leader)

You're off to great place, today is your day!
Your mountain is waiting, so get on your way!
Source
(there's no better time than the present)

You have brains in your head, you have feet in your shoes.
You can steer yourself in any direction you choose!
Source
(everything you need is with you)

You're on your own. And you know what you know.
And you are the one who'll decide where to go.
Source
(you have complete control of you and your life)

Questions of the Day:
1) Are you a fan of Dr. Seuss?
2) Which of these did you like the most?
3) What are some of your thoughts on them?

  1. I love all of these! I love that Dr. Suess books/quotes, while they are children's books, they transfer lessons that are so applicable and important for all ages! Not sure if that made sense but hopefully you know what I meant :)

    1. It made complete sense and I agree! :) I think they even have more of an impact on us who are older because we can really critically think through them!
