The Photo Album #2

With Easter coming up I thought this was perfect for today's photo album

I'm not sure what year this was, but pictures with the Easter bunny were a tradition growing up. As you can tell they were not my favorite! Yes I am crying my eyes out and by the looks of it think I was screaming my lungs out too. My brother is calm, cool and collected not even wincing at my reaction!

I remember having such a fear of characters such as this. I did not like any of them and would run/hide whenever I saw them coming my way. All things aside, I can't help but smile at this picture. It is truly a candid shot.

Each moment is special in it's own way. Pictures can tell such a story with no words. Even though here I am terrified beyond belief, it is an important part of my growing up. This picture is special for the particular time in my life.

I'm excited Easter is almost here!
I know Kayla, who I'm linking this post with is too!

Questions of the day:
1) Where you ever scared of these fuzzy creatures?
2) Do you have any awesome candid shots like this?
3) What's your favorite part Easter?

  1. Ah lovely picture...I love childhood pics...I have some good candid shots of my sister and I, which I just love. Wouldn't we all just love to go back to being a kid again free of responsibilites?! :) My fave part of Easter has to be the chocolate...shallow I know but it's hard to resist! Danielle x

  2. I have a picture that looks almost exactly like that, except my twin sister and I are both screaming lol. My mom says we waited in line for hour to meet the easter bunny, but as soon as we got up there my sister and I totally freaked out.

  3. Oh bless you, you look truly terrified ha! I don't think it's such a big tradition in the UK like it is in the states to get holiday photos and such but I've always been scared of people dressed up. Even now, only I'm not scared of the characters at Disneyland which is strange.

ps. My favorite part of Easter is all the bunny and chick things everywhere - so cute!

    Best wishes, Danielle.

  4. Haha I'm sure i've seen a picture like this of the husband when he was little with the Easter bunny and him in a posh looking suit. It's very different from what I grew up with. The US certainly goes to town with holidays that's for sure!

    1. We really do!! To me it's just normal because of growing up with it. I couldn't imagine it another way! But I love learning how others celebrate! :))
