Hi all. I first and foremost want to say thank you to everyone for your lovely comments and tweets over the weekend wishing me well! It's been a rough couple days since my wisdom teeth removal on Friday, but I've had some awesome nurses, my family, taking care of me! Now, this weekend was not really filled with anything that was picture worthy…lots of resting, sleeping, watching Netflix and repeating the cycle throughout. So, today's Marvelous Monday with Katie is going to be a little different than usual! I have a daily quotes app which I look forward to reading each morning I wake up. I decided to take a screenshot of the quote from each day to share on here for Monday motivation!
Cute card, pretty flowers, and good-smelling candle my boyfriend brought me Friday afternoon. |
Friday:
A life lived for others is much more rewarding than one lived for yourself.
Saturday:
Reaching a goal is an accomplishment no matter what route or how long it takes to get there.
Sunday:
Once your mind is made up there is no stopping you; be relentless in your decisions.
One of my favorite things to do is take time to reflect on different quotes. There are so many, all which hold incredible meaning. Although this weekend was low key and slightly on the painful side, it was perfect for the fact I had time to just sit and really think about these quotes each morning.
What was your weekend like??
❤ Nichole ❤
I hope you're feeling better soon! My weekend was packed, but I got to see my mom and Brian's mom on Mother's Day and spent some quality time with both families, which I loved.
ReplyDeleteAwww that sounds so nice! :)) glad you had a good weekend!
DeleteWow! Thank you for sharing your morning quotes with all of us. I will be saving them to my computer. I like to wake up every morning & read a passage from my current devotional book.
ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling better
xoo
You're welcome! I'm so happy you enjoyed them:) My mom just got me a new devotional for graduation and I can't wait to start it! That sounds like a great start to each morning!
DeleteHope you feel better soon, my weekend was pretty lazy I will be honest although we did go for a couple of long walks!
ReplyDeleteThose long walks sound super nice though!! I can't wait to be able to take some runs outside!! Fresh air and sunshine is so lovely!!
DeleteMy weekend was exhausting and exciting, thanks ;)
ReplyDeleteIt must be scary having to have your wisdom teeth out! I am so lucky that I don't have any, my mouth would be too small for them anyway.

Hopefully the exhaustion came from all the excitement! :p hehe! How lucky for you that you don't have any! I've heard that some people don't..even heard that some people only had 3 or 2!
